Paducah McCracken Senior Center is happy to announce the 2nd annual Rake a Difference event, that provides help to seniors  with the simple and yet tedious task of raking the fall leaves, and yard work. Below we are accepting applications from volunteer teams who want to help. Make no mistake, there is a great need for this volunteer service in our community. Raking leaves, and cleaning gutters can be difficult, if not impossible, for many seniors. But, with your help, they can be ready for winter. Seniors often try to do these clean-ups themselves, putting them at risk for injury.

This is going to be a fun, team-building experience for many businesses, organizations, and other groups-sign up a team today!

Teams will be paired with a senior in Paducah-McCracken County. Rake a Difference Day will occur on November 15 & 16, 2024 starting at 8:00 a.m.

Teams that sign up should bring their own rakes, gloves, ladder, and lawn garbage bags if they wish.

Senior yard assignment info will be emailed out by November 13th.
